Jim is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a double major in business and journalism. He retired a few years back after a 30-plus-year career as a Certified Financial Planner.
Although his career took him into the business world, he found time to follow his passion for writing with over 300 published articles to his credit.
His expansive writings have appeared in numerous local and national periodicals--from an article on childhood learning disabilities in ADDitude magazine to editorials in the Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune.
His award-winning monthly column, Managing Money, appeared for five years in two national magazines (Advisor Today and Retirement Life) up until his retirement. He is an American history buff and developed a keen interest in genealogy after discovering his ancestors came to America in 1733.
The Pursuit is his first book endeavor.
The author is proud to donate 100% of The Pursuit book sale royalties to the T2T Foundation, which supports America's heroes.
